DO MEDS have a lot to do with weight?I lost 51 pounds in 2012 and 3 pounds over the holidays and now I am shaky
plz help

Some do. You will need to talk to your dr and pharmacist to find out what the side effects of your meds are.
Which meds are you on?

1st...Bravo!! on your weight loss..That is amazing efforts during the holidays and you are doing wonderful..Be proud of your accomplishments you made so far!! :)

2nd...I agree with Jen..Talk with your doctor...He/she will help you to understand ..Usually when getting meds, you should have a sheet of papers that tells side efforts for meds..I am on 4 meds and do not have any side effects.

Again..Be happy and wishing you much continue efforts..

Oh, I am on water pills for pressure and water weight issues..and that helps on weight loss..So it could be that your meds can help reduce it...How is your overall health??

I agree that some meds do. Also be sure to get a good description of side effets including the eventual side effects for going off the meds. This is so very important and I wish I had thought to do so because for me, I may have been a lot more hesitent to go on a particular med.

When I started lexapro I lost over 30 lbs in a month! Sadly now I'm on medicaid and they don't cover lexapro and all the meds I'm on make losing weight nearly impossible.

I agree check with your dr or pharmacist and you can even look online for side effects of meds.
