So sorry you are having a rough patch.
We cannot change the past, but we all strong enough to change the future.
Please start by loving yourself. You are a great person, strong, and do want to make life better for yourself.
Start with mini goals. Just change a few things first. Can you walk? Just start by taking a few extra steps. You don't need a gym membership. There are so many items around our home that work great.
Do you have a dr. If you do maybe see a dietician or nutritist, or even the dr for a balanced meal plan that can help you obtain your goals.
You are important and worth it. I am sure little changes will make you feel better. Each day start new. If you slip up, just start over and don't beat yourself up.
Please come back for support and let us know who you are doing......we do care and help each other. We all want to be healthy and of course with less pain....(hugs)
I cant stand for very long due to back pain but I bought the cheapest stationary (recumbent) bike that walmart had. I barely can do a mile at a time but I think of it this way 3 miles a week times 4 weeks. Thats 12 miles! 12 miles!! Thats huge! You could buy one on online and have it delivered to your house if you are self conscious about getting one at the store.
We just need to find what we can do and do it. Like I said before your swimming is AWESOME!! Keep that up!
Also, my back and sciatic nerve hurt a lot so some days my exercise program involves me lying on the couch taking turns clenching each muscle group in my body as hard as I can, holding it for a few seconds, and then relaxing. It burns a few calories, and seems to help me with the back pain.
Anyway please don't give up, I know you can find some tiny little changes that will help with the pain enough that you'll be able to make bigger changes later.
I am over 400 Lbs and have chronic pain...I do not stop me and had dealt with depression and its mind over matter..I can not become depressd, since I care for my disabled sister and aging mom and I truly believe that fitness counts!! I take Aleve and that helps with my ankle pain, heel pain and my sciatica..and I push myself on walking more and taking care of myself because my family depends on me now.
Start walking indoors, begin 10 min and build up..I guaratee you will feel better.. Never give up hope or yourself...You are worth it..Good luck!! (((((hugs)))))
