I was just wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions in regards to staying positive at work. I've found that being committed to what I am doing in my role as a nurse helps me stay realistic and to keep my personal emotions from being mixed into my shift. However, there are times where this can be challenging for me, particularly when I am working with a few co-workers who are so self entitled and annoying to work with that it can make my shift miserable. Unfortunately, working in an emergency room I do not have the luxury of having my own team of patients and that's that, so I must interact and rely on the team approach from my coworkers. I have found that I do need a balance of rest, leisure, and having fun on my days off, particularly on weekends, however, I would appreciate any further feed back to not only deal and handle these trouble sources, but also any recommendations towards team building.
