To purpose of this group is to provide support to all nurses dealing with work related stress as well as nurses recovering from medical, emotional/psychological, as well as dependence on mind-altering substances
I am a wound care nurse who works primarily in SNF, this has been a hard year. Working in geriatrics I lose patients, I hurt , and move on.. this year I have lost 100+ patients. Not all to COVID but many had recovered and sercome to the next ailment. I do go to therapy and am on antidepressant. I can't sleep, I wake up every night at odd hours and can't fall back in a real sleep, just a hazy doze. Is anyone else feeling this?
