Hi all, I was recently tested for thyroid and adrenal gland cancer. Both were negative. My doctor who had me tested for these is a nephrologist because I have a left renal artery blockage and he also noticed swelling under my jawline.
I was hoping you guys might help me out with some of the strange symptoms I have been having. I do have Sjogrens and that makes your Parotid glands swell. I am pretty sure I have a left side Parotid gland swelling that has been there for about 5-6 months. During all of this time I have developed these other swellings under my jawline, around my left ear, further down my neck that are rather large and feel like the swollen lymph nodes my mom used to check me for when she thought I might be sick. I also have some swollen lumps here and there down the left side of my spine. I have these very strange little lumps that are not noticeable but I can feeel them. They are in my arms--above and below elbows; they are in my inner thighs around the groin area and I can feel several around my collarbone. Now one doctor told me these were fatty deposits but it seems strange to have these many fatty deposits and the fact that they are all lined up together as if on a s string is even more strange.
Also I have livedo regularis on my legs which is a dark lacy like coloring on my skin. I get tired out easily and have noticed that I can go a whole week or more and then one day I am absolutely sick. I can not even hardly manage to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I will have headaches, sometimes stomaches, I will feel sore all over , BUT ESPECIALLY WHERE MY LYMPH GLANDS ARE!! This happend to me today. At first I was blowing it off thinking it was a big stress release since I found out yesterday that I dont have the other cancers. However, I was pretty much in the denial stage the entire 2 weeks I had to wait for the results. These extremely tired, sick days come on more and more lately and I do not understand them. I have been dxed with fibro and chronic fatigue syndrom but I take meds for them that control them. I always think of the main doctor of the the show ER who died of brain cancer. He quit his job and he and his family went to Hawaii. He had lots of fun playing in the sun and then there were days he was sick and could not get out of bed. The next day he would be fine again. This went on for awhile until one day he was sick for like 2 days and then he died. I get scared because it seems like I am following this strange pattern. Can this happen?
Also, my left ear has been hurting for about 4 years and this occurred right after I was dxed with a high virile load of Epstein Bar Virus. Since then I have been dxed with Sjogrens, Raynauds, IBS, fibro, CFS, and Chronic Cytomegalovirus. All autoimmune related. I am about to be dxed with RA once my RA factor hits 30, it has climbed from 9 all the way to 20 over the last 4 years. Plus they always check me for lupus and ask questions pertaining to MS. I am so tired of this medical merry go round. I just want answers so I can live my life normally. Any one with any info or advice is highly welcome!!!!

Well one lump was between my eyes and I decided to have it removed because my sunglasses didn't sit right. Just to be safe, they sent it for a biopsy. I was then diagnosed with NHL. I went to an Oncologist right away and he ran a second biopsy on the same sample. You need a pathologist that specializes in cancers to really do it right.
You know your body and you know it is not right. Don't stop searching for the answer until you get one. It would make sense you have other medical issues if you do have lymphoma because your immune system isn't working properly. You just need to find the root cause.
