I'm new here, I've had neuropathy in my legs for the last 15 years that has also left them not only painful at night but you can poke them with a knife and I wouldn't feel it ..that's for my toes up above my knees. just in the past 3 months I started experiencing the same thing in my fingertips that is now gone a past my elbow and into my shoulders. I am seeing a neurologist who has done the blood testing , a pee test for heavy metals and arsenic, and am getting ready to undergo the nerve testing for my lower extremities and upper extremities. This is all new to me especially with me not being able to touch things,  hold things ...the pain in my fingertips going up through my arm is just excruciating. I am on gabapentin that sometimes helps sometimes it does not.  I am forced to give up my licensed daycare that I have done for almost 20 years and I filed for disability because I cannot do the things that I used to do not even close. I have search the web for answers,  my daughter has Googled everything she possibly can to help me in this path.... so I guess joining the support group I feel should be able to help me by talking to people who are experiencing similar things
