i am new to this site.ive been told i have neuropothy. but its in my whole body. i burn all threw my chest, arms and
legs. i get int only in my left foot. i cannot sit threw a mri. i have bad clostrophobiaand bad tremmors, i am on so much meds, that im dizzy and fel bad all the time. i also have to care for dying husband.. i am in intence pain all the time. doc says to swim. trying and am on neurontin, axicodone. i ahve to take so much meds that my bowls are locked. i DO NOT have daibities but am only boarderline. can anyone help me or give my some advice. i feel like im going mad. i cant take anymoore meds thatn i allready do. in much pain alot of the times. any suggestions?

I feel for you. :( I have small fiber neuropathy and have been prescribed countless of pain meds (Lyrica, neurontin, oxyc, fentanyl....you name it), but found that I just can't handle all of the side effects, plus I was so worried about getting hooked on the them since they did very little to relieve the pain, but spaced me out something fierce, that I refused to take any more of them. I do NOT have diabetes (not even close) and I'm no elderly so I don't know why it has chosen me. Warm showers help, but I have to be careful to test the water with a thermometer, so as not to have it too hot. While I have intense widespread pain, I can't tell when water is too hot. I have literally put my hand down into a pot of boiling water when making pasta and it taking a few seconds to reach my brain that my hand is in boiling water. Yet if I get startled, my hands explode with pain as if I had just grabbed a live electric outlet wire. I'm sitting here now feeling like there is a blow torch going up and down my back and my right leg. But all I can do is just take one hour at a time. And with G-D's help, I manage to struggle through. Will be keeping you in my prayers....

thank you for the info. i was checking for my aunte. she has i think what you have. i allways thought that she could have that fibramiolagy thing. docs cant seem to help much juct tell her to take moore pills. she has terrible proublums with her bowls moving sometimes its a week or moore because of all the meds. she also has violent trmmers so im do the typing for her. thank you so much we never knew you could have both like that. that realy makes sence.if you have any suggestions please let me know and i will do the same. her doc told her to swim in a heated pool so we are going to try that. she cannot take anything cold against her skin ever. are you the same with the cold? thank you and god bless you may you find peace for you and yoursxxoo

MY HUSBAND HAS CHARCOTS OF HIS FOOT HAS NOT WALKED FOR 9 MONTHS SINCE YOU HAVE NEUROPATHY AND IN SO MUCH PAIN AND ON ALL THOSE MEDS. MAKING YOU HUG ZDIZZY AND CARING FOR A DYING HUSBAND, CONTACT SOCIAL SERVICES, AND ASK TO SPEAK TO SOCIAL WORKER OR TALK TO YOUR DR. ASK HIM IF HE COULD SUGGEST SOMETHING. DOES YOUR HUSBAND NEED FULL TIME CARE? AND MEDICAL TREATMENTS AT HOME? GOD BLESS YOU I WISH I COULD HELP MORE ZZZTOP
