I have been diagnosed with Pn in the last 7 months. What a nightmare of a disease this is.i just stated cymbalta because lyrica hasn't helped. I seem to be getting bad quickly. I do believe I will end up in a wheelchair. Has any thing besides meds help anyone.thanks hugs
I have neuropathy in my feet & legs & it is the progressive type.
I am on Gabapentin 300 mg 2 times a day & Cymbalta.
I am in pain most of the time.
I had injections in the ankles & that did not help.
My pain dr. wanted me to get this devise that they put in your body for pain. It is Neurostimulator. My other doctors were not to keen on the idea.
I don't know what to do anymore.
I never tried Lyrica bc I heard bad things about it.
How did you feel when you were on it?
All I know is that it is a bad disease.
I hope you can find some relief.
The only relief I get is with a heating pad & a soak in the bath with hot water & that only lasts while your in there.
