I used to have the worst itching untill I was put on the Neurontin but it causes weight gain. But the itching used to keep me up at night my feet were the worst.

Yea I had a few small tumors removed because I scrached them to the point of bleeding all the time, I couldn't leave em alone.The one the itch under the skin drive me nuts cause I can't scratch em.My mom has problems with hers as well, as did my grandmother.Scratching hers led her to contract MRSA in the nursing home, witch is how i caught it.But what can you do when nothing takes it away?I go though tubes of the nystatin and goldbond anti itch.Kinda want to bath in it.
I do find that a oatmeal bath helps once in a while.colidal ( iknow thats not spelled right lol ) oatmeal and warm water and soak, sometimes add epsom salts.I get the itching feet too and sometimes the athleates foot stuff will take it away for a little while, a little relief is better than nothing.

my back gets really itchy and now it hurts to scratch. what i find gives me some relief is a anti histamine i have a friend who is a nurse she suggested it cause they work frm the inside where lotions only work frm the outside . this works quit well hope it helps you bellastarr

I gave my dad some Bactine spray. If the itch is on your back...bend at the waist and spray over the back...the spray falls on your back not to the floor before it has a chance to reach you. He said it worked pretty good.

I have the same problem My Dr. say Benedryl but I don't take it for the same reason. So we itch!
