I finally went to see a doctor for the pain I have due to my NF....usually I just deal with it..but lately its been getting worse....so I went to a pain management doctor...after countless, of what I thought was stupid question he gives me.....LYRICA....to take twice a day....if anyone has taken this medication for their NF please tell me ..is it going to help...I have been taking it for the past week and it doesn't seem like it......

HI, I DID'NT KNOW THAT IT MED'S TO TAKE. I DO HAVE A LOT PAIN IN MY BIG TOE. I REALLY HAVE NOT FOUND A GOOD DOCOTOR.

I take several meds for nf pain and get some relif they were for seizures and have been found to work well on nerve pain.My doctor started me on Cymbal(spelling) it's someting like Lyrica been doing OK with it but sometimes am sleepy.Any of these meds you have to give them time to build up in your body.

Hey, I also have pain in my big toe at times. Gout runs in my family and that is the first sign of it. And I usually get the pain when I drink alcohol or have eaten more fat than usual. So I believe mine is gout. And it usually goes away in a day or two. Mama, you should check out that possibility.

I'VE WENT TO THE FOOT DOC AND THEY DID REMOVE A NAIL FROM THE TOE. IT FELT BETTER. WITHIN TWO MONTH IT STARTED AGAIN.IT HURTS REAL BAD NOW NOTHING CAN'T TOUCH MY TOE. I WANT TO WEAR MY CUTE LITTLE SHOES.AND WEAR CUTE SHIRTS TOO SO IS THERE IN MED'S TO TAKE FOR PAIN SHE GAVE ME NAPROXEN AND THAT DON'T HELP.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
