Neurofibromatosis is usually noncancerous. There are three types of this condition. Type 1 usually appears in childhood, while Types 2 and 3 appear in early adulthood. Type 1 can cause bone deformities, learning disabilities, and high blood pressure. Type 2 can cause hearing loss, vision loss, and difficulty with balance. I recently had Electro-desiccation two weeks ago......on several small tumors I had....I have to say....its not at all what I had expected...but I am glad I did it......several of the ones that had really been bothering me..and where causing me pain....were taken off......sad thing is....after this month.... I no longer will have my health insurance.....cant afford it......got laid off...and my insurance thew cobra is $389.00.....oh well thats life.......anywho...anyone here know of any other resources....such as medical clinics.... I can go to in the central Texas area...now that I dont have any insurance ..and not that much cash either....I dont know where to go......thanks for ur replies...

Just curious, what did you mean the ED was not what you expected? I'm planning on doing it this year sometime (when i get ins. too) and i'm trying to get different peoples' opinions.
