I haven't checked in here in years, I guess. I started my split back in 2009, finally got divorced after a couple years of games. In between, he moved to another state and my life kind of normalized. I guess I am checking back because all these years later, he has moved back. Though it is not quite as much reaction, I am still paranoid. A cousin had told me she saw him at the grocery store, so I knew he was at least visiting the area. Then an old friend, married to one of his old friends, offered me a ride. I took the ride and she did mention that he was moving back here and hopefully moving his parents here. Good info for my own avoidance needs, but I left it at that. Then later, one of my friends that I had lost touch with over the years re-added me to FB and asked me to dinner. I went and she mentioned that she had run into him on the community college campus and he had asked about me. Then a guy from our rather specific community that I had dated a couple of times (who also knew him before), re-added me on FB. Nothing has happened since and I have not ran into him, personally. Very different circles, usually. A song came on tonight, one he had sent me while trying to hoover and it brought me here and to recognizing that 5-6 years later, I am still that affected and definitely that paranoid from the experience.
