My bigger concern is based on Dr. Oz's show the other day where he exposed health scams. I know to look for certain testing to make sure I'm getting what is supposed to be in the bottle, but I was being duped by some language and testing labs that I thought were ok. So, now I am left feeling uncertain again.
I just bought a 4 month supply of juice plus, something I took for many years and really did well on. I know others who have taken it and gotten their blood tested regularly since they had the stomach staple surgery and only needed to add calcium. But still, I'm questioning because to my knowledge it is not tested by the lab represented on this show.
I for one am a fan of vitamins. I find that they make me feel better more often that not, and I do notice when I don't take them these days. I take them Monday - Friday and take Saturday & Sunday off. That is just my game plan.
I personally, have never agreed with taking a multi-vitamin. I'm a little disturbed now to find out that juice plus has vitamin powders in it. I started taking it specifically because I don't think multi's are safe. Not only do we all have different needs based on our age, diet, where we live, genetics, disorders and diseases, but we also have different requirements on given days.
