Yes, at first I thought that I wouldn't do it, but after reading about it I would do and have a feeling it would help.
I really believe that the tiredness and weakness is from the muscle toxins that just can't escape with them being so tight.
Now that I have had a couple days for it to set in, I think that if it did anything at all, it definitely helped and didnt hurt. I also had a massage the day after and although my skin was a little sore to massage, it was not too bad.
I feel like the knots in my traps that have been slowwwwwwly decreasing in size the beginning of this year, are starting to break up more and become more movable. I am also taking Savella and getting 2 -3 hour massages 2 x a week so it is hard to tell exactly what is helping.
If anyone has the chance to try Gua Sha (my acupuncturist did it) I would recommend it based on my very little experience so far because the important thing is that it did not make me worse.
Sorry, not very informative, I know. I guess the upshot is that there was no downside at least in my experience.
