Sometimes I can actually hear and feel the tissues underneath grinding, snapping, cracking and generally 'breaking free'. It is very painful though, even with must mild pressure.
I think my MPS was bought on by multiple surgeries I had an a lot of my pain is either directly ontop of scars or located near to them. I think the tissues are just 'glued' together from scar tissue. According to what I have read no amount of massage will 'break up' proper scar tissue to I guess I am stuck with trying to loosen up the muscles and keep things freely moving.
