Myofascial Pain Syndrome (or MPS) is a term used to describe one of the conditions characterized by chronic pain. So the culprit was the injections, huh? It goes to show that sometimes the alternative medicine approach is not the right one.
Congrats, again, on your progress.
Yes, Chimerical, it was the Biopuncture injections that set off the horrible pain in the area they were given, both pecs. I believe that I would have removed quickly from my collarbone being out of place with trigger point therapy or myofascial release, but listened to the naturopath and tried Biopuncture. Bad choice and I paid dearly for that decision.
Bullring, I wouldn't recommend Biopuncture to people with myofascial pain because of my awful experience, but everyone has to make their own decisions. As we know, we all respond differently, and from seeing it demonstrated on the Dr. Oz show, I am sure it has been helpful to others.
I buy them in their liquid form and put them direct onto the area, rub it into the skin over a sore area. A classic example is putting liquid arnica, hypericum and rhus tox on my sore back when I had a really bad fall. It got me back to work within days. And I can also mix and match the strengths, so if something feels more emotional than physical I'll go for a high strength.
Just my thoughts.
