Good luck and keep us posted!
I take 50mg of Elavil. Generic name is Amatriptilyne. It is one of the cheapest drugs out there. It is a tried, tested and older anti-depressant when used in low dosages, is helpful for people in chronic pain. I began Elavil shortly after Gabapentin, and I have not had side effects. I do beleive it helps with the pain, and also sleep. I sleep without a problem, that is the only time I have 0 pain.
Dave you may want to try it, as it could kill 2 birds with one stone for you, depression and pain. Again, for chronic pain is has quite a few studies on it as it is an older drug. You may want to consider it. I think it runs me 8.00 for a 30 day supply.
And no Dave, post away! I hope to answer your questions as best as I can. take care jess
