After feeling crappy for a week, I'm now back to (mostly) my old self. How about the rest of you? Sharon
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. Had a good day & my count is back in the low 9's. Sharon
So now I'm looking forward to spring and golf weather hoping that I will be able to play.
Sandra - glad to hear things are going well, you are in my prayers.
Hope all the rest of you are doing OK.

Just been hangin out, kinda like Sharon feeling crappy. Had biweekly transfusion this week which always takes a couple of days to really kick in. counts are down from chemo couple of weeks ago but life is goooooood.
I hope you all have a fantastic week. Remember someone around you really needs a smile. You don't know who it is so give everyone a good smile just to be sure.
God Bless all,
Mike
I completed my first cycle of Vidaza and the following week HGB was 7.1 so had a BT on Feb. 7th. The following week HGB went up 9.0
and then last week as well as today HGB 10.1. What a surprise to have HGB at 10.1 two Monday's in a row.
Today begins the first day of the Cycle Two. So just hope for the best and enjoying each day.
Hope all is well with everyone. Hugs!
Tecia, is your mom getting treatment this week?
Sandy, I laughed to see that you want to replace tennis with golf. No rocking chair for you, eh?
Mike, hope things have improved with you.
Posh, how's the shoulder?
Pretty much the same for me, Hgb 9.1 yesterday. I'm grateful to be hanging in there because shortness of breath is becoming more prevalent a symptom.
On January 23 rd I rec'd my brother's stem cells. It has been some jounrney. To day is +40 / 60 or less days down here in Ann Arbor, Mi. I live in Muskegon. My granddaughter is keeping house for us...bless her heart...she is 18. taking care of the plants, fish and dog and the house. It is nice to know that someone is there. We are renting a motel about 5 miles from the hospital U of M.
This is my 2nd visit to the hospital after I left. I developed GVHD in the GI track. Mild and doing better each day. Been back a week now in here, but each new day is better. It is a journey, but I am a patient person and hanging in there. I really do not have the energy to respond to everyone. But care about you all. I keep up with Cat's blog as she is soon to go for her BMT. If anyone has any questions feel that you can. I rec'd blood today and they helped. I will try and get back in soon. Blessings to all.....
Gosh, Posh (couldn't resist that), does that mean no housework, no cooking? It can't be ALL bad.
Just checking in. Good to see and hear from you Sandra. You look great. Hang in there it keeps on getting better as you go.
Posh same to you course you already know that.
I hope everyone else is doing goooder than before. This is BT week for me then next week chemo again. The docs schedule worked out where I got a 5 actually 6 week break this time. Blood counts are staying around 1.5 for the WBC and 15 to 25 for the platelets with the RBC up and down depending on which week it is. All things considered doing great and sincerely pray for each and everyone of you that you are the same.
Have a great week and God Bless all.
Mike
