I have a great Dr. but that prob doesn\'t help you i live in iowa!!!

Dr. Brent Beeson at the MDA Clinic in Oklahoma City is GREAT! He stays on top of the newest research as well as listening carefully to what the patient says. He is always open for discussion about treatment.

We would highly recommend Dr Praful Kelkar at the Noran Neruo Clinic in Minneapolis. He had been head of neuro at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and decided to go into private practice and he specializes in MG. He is truly not only a wonderful neruo but a wonderful human being. We travel 8 hours from southeast Iowa to see him every 3-6 months. She is also followed by Dr Andrea Swenson at the University of Iowa who was taught by Dr Kelkar, he speaks highly of her as well. We have found her to really listen to what Natalie has concerns with and is very prompt in returning calls. Both of these physicians we would recommended without hesitation! I am sure there are other MG neuros out there, Dr Kelkar says many neruos never see MG in their practice and therefore do not the options for treatment.

(I have one cousin who lives in Iowa, another who is moving to Minneapolis in July and I used to fly into Oklahoma City all the time to visit my grandparents in Coffeeville, Kansas.) I am thinking of seeing which doctor could review my daughter\'s records and give me their thoughts. Thanks. Sarah

Hi! I am a 24 yr woman who has a wonderful neurologist. I live in Boston MA. My neuro is Dr. Janice Weisman at Boston Medical Center. I could not recommend her any stronger than I do! She has got my MG under wonderful control. She has been my doc for around 5-6 years now and she is amazing. I have had very good results with Mestinon (generic) and Imuran (generic as well). I refused Thymectomy as my Thymus appears normal, and refused steroids. Those options were a last resort for me and thank God it has never come to that :)
