I'm on Augmentin, metoprolol (beta blocker), Lasix, and inhaled steroids for my asthma along with Colace and Miralax. Of course, they told me to stop my mestinon for at least 24 hours before the test.
I'd heard somewhere that asthma meds can affect the sfemg.

The link above will take you to the Links group, on preparing for EMGs. Your doctor should tell you which medications might affect the test, but I was given no instruction. You should ask specifically. The first paper mentions some medications, but not the particular ones you are asking about.
There are things other than medications that affect the accuracy of the tests that are often neglected, which are discussed as well, like temperature of the room and the muscles tested.
