I was wondering if any of you have had to apply for travel insurance since you you been diagnosed with MG?
I know that it would be considered as a pre-existing condition, but I want to buy an online insurance package for my holiday in July, and was wondering if anyone had a recomendation experience that would help me narrow down my search. (and tips on what to look out for)

In the past, we have used travel guard. A good friend of mine is a travel agent and it is what she always offers us. I have never had to use it but my father in law had to be careflighted off a ship to New Zealand due to gallbladder and was grateful to have the insurance.

When I was traveling for my company we used American Express for travel insurance, I do not recall them asking me about my medical history other than the medications I was taking.
We took a cruise last year and purchased travel insurance and again I don't recall them asking anything about a pre-existing condition.
You may want to contact your credit card company as they may also offer insurance.
I always purchase travel insurance that will ensure I can get back home from wherever I am. One word of caution, not all travel insurance does cover preexisting conditions and specifically excludes it. I always get a copy of the policy before purchase to be sure it is covered. Not all policies are clearly explained to the purchaser. Another one of those "buyer beware" situations. I once coordinated a cruise for MG patients and required the purchase of travel insurance. The policy originally presented to me for sale to those attending, specifically excluded preexisting conditions, despite all assurances from the travel agent that MG would be covered.
