I want to take a minute to thank you all for the good stories! about things you can now do and remissions!
I am antibody negative for both AchR and MUSK (but EMG positive). I was fortunate to have my blood sent to Oxford to have the more sensitive testing done. (this was going to aid me in my decision of whether to pursue a thymectomy.) Since it seems a great deal of double negatives are found to have something positive on sensitive testing - I was sure I was going to be positive. I don't know why I had my heart set on it but I did. I got my results last week and am still negative for both. While it's clearly not bad - I was just a bit down in the dumps and really wanted to thank you all for keeping me positive!

It is discouraging not to have this concrete answer of posative blood work. If not sick and in the hospital to be treated by on call neuro, I wouldn't have gotten all the treatments I have had. I fear, with out a posative blood test, my meds may be taken from me one day.
I hope they will be able to soon give all of us s-neg folks a fim diagnosis based on our responce to meds and treatments.

Thanks! - to the medically-trained members, of our group.
There are literally dozens of antibodies -
- that may correlate to MG, particularly for people -
- who are negative, for both AChR and MuSK.
That's part of why I'm considering - calling the MDA.
To ask to be included, in some of their studies.
Looking for lesser-known antibodies, seen in MG patients.
(Some of our group - have already contacted the MDA.)
