It's been a while since I was here last so I thought I'd stop in and say hello. I miss you all and the daily encouragement I received from you.
Nothing much has changed since my last post. I still do not have a diagnosis and not feeling any better. I have found that my testosterone, Vitamins B12 and D as well as iron levels are all very very low. I'm taking a bunch of injections now for all of that and most are coming back up. I still have to get the iron up and my red blood cells are very small because of this. The dang testosterone shot hurts for several days after taking it in the rump.The others aren't so bad and I can do all of them at home by myself except for the testosterone that my wife has to do because I don't have enough strength to push the plunger in. I'm also now on 80 IU's of insulin a day plus oral diabetes meds.
The good thing is that my weight hasn't gone up so far. I was afraid that after leaving work in December I would quickly gain but it hasn't happened thankfully. I did join the YMCA in February hoping I could exercise in the pool and do okay. I tried for three weeks but my joint pain just kept getting worse until I could no longer get out of bed. I stopped going and about 3 weeks later my pain level finally settled down.
I am getting out one day a week volunteering at our church school at the main entrance security desk. It's a lot of fun and easy to do so it gets me out of the house and interacting with people face to face. Even with the tremendous pain and fatigue I still feel very blessed and love life. I just wish I could be a part of life again but I enjoy everything I can.

I am concerned about your pain. MG usually doesn't cause pain unless we over use the muscles.

Thanks for the update! Frustrated for you - no diagnosis yet.
That joint pain? I have friends who are diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (another autoimmune condition). Your symptoms sound similar. (It may just be something to be eliminated - from the possible list of causes.)
