For me it I found the Rituxan started making a real difference about 30 days after the first dose. I am at the point that I am having days that I can basically jog up the staris like they are not even there. Thats a strange feeling as for the last 3 years a set of stairs looked like a mountain. I have been blessed that this medication works.
I have one more session in 4 weeks and then it will be "as needed" for symptom control. I can request it as frequently as every 4 weeks if needed.
One good thing to report, was that todays infusion was the easiest to tolerate by far. I have had no side effects at all. The first 3 or 4 infusions I was quite tired afterwards for a few days and did get some minor rashes that cleared up with Benadryl. So for me at least it appears that my body has gotten used to taking this med and I now tolerate it quite well.
Best of wishes Dee. I hope this works for you as well as it seems to be working for me. This has been a real blessing to finally have some real relief from MG
