My 15 yr old w/ generalized MG went to eye doc yesterday for annual exam. As part of exam, they take a photo of the optic nerve. They told me she has very little padding around the nerve (and this is likely genetic. She is adopted and we don't have family history.) However, what padding she does have has reduced over the last year. Even though she does not have increased pressure in the eyes, they are referring her to a glaucoma specialist. (They are trying to locate one with experience with MG.) Prior to her MG, she was diagnosed with a condition where her eyes "bounce around" when she reads. She wears reading glasses for this condition. Over the last year she has become slightly near-sighted, but no double vision and very little eye-drooping. Has anyone had a similar experience or any advice?

I know a 28 yr old woman who was diagnosed at 22, had Thymectomy, now is in total remission an has to take nothing. I wish the same for your daughter. I understand your, and your doctor's reluctance to prscribe steroids and organ anti-rejuction drugs. None of them are nice - each has bad side effects.
