I don't know! Maybe if we just keep practicing and reminding ourselves it will get easier? But, I guess plenty of people who don't have MG sit at their desks all day and only take rapid, shallow breaths, right?

I agree with you Vieve, as soon as I am not conscious of my breathing I find myself chest breathing!! Maybe you are right and all those months of MG being so bad have deconditioned the muscles! Hopefully with time, and hopefully continuing to be stronger we will slowly build strength again and breathe correctly!!
You are also right about plenty of other people no doubt not breathing right sitting in offices all day too!!
