Has anyone experienced similar problems?
I felt better after IVIG (only a bit) and have since begun 10mg prednisone. Now I barely can raise my hands up to wash my hair in the morning, and shaving and toothbrushing is a two-handed affair--with many razor cuts!!!!
Chewing is also a problem. A few bites is okay, then soon I can't even close my teeth together. Sometimes swallowing is diffucult.
It gets better late in the morning, then worsens again in the evenings.
Is this typical? Does newly begun prednisone regimen come with occasional worsening of symptoms.

10mg Prednisone - is a very low dose.
It's basically considered a ''maintenance dose'' - for Snowflakes with mild MG symptoms.
Your Neuro is probably just being cautious at first, checking for any immediate negative reaction to Prednisone.
Reading your symptoms, above? Well, they do not sound like mild symptoms. If you tolerate the 10mg Prednisone?
It would not be a surprise, to hear that your Neuro - has given you a prescription for a higher dose of Prednisone.
