I would love to have everyone here over for a New Years Eve Party . I thought it would be great for all of us to meet, give hugs all around , and I would pass out extra mestinon so I wouldn't slur when we told each other that we don't look sick. We could toast each other with our energy drinks and hope fatigue didn't do us in by 8 o'clock . Then settle in for an all nighter !! By that I mean making it all night without haveing to use the bathroom or get up and walk around after our feet and legs started cramping , stepping over the dog that is always in the way at 1 in the morning and not stubbing our toes. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and mysteriously alot of my MG symptoms disappear. Not that I would recommend getting cancer to cure MG but hey I am grateful that my only symptom now is weakness in my hips and legs.I have had a couple of episodes of no back muscles and I couldn't stand up straight but they only lasted a day then dissappeared. Neuro #2 said the cancer caused the MG(anyone ever heard of such a thing?)At least I have my mouth back and can eat when I am not nauseated from chemo. Another speculation is that chemo,and steroids they give me too are subduing my immune system and therefore helping MG.
Ray2me- I have a cat that wakes me up in the nite licking my balding head. She is going to get a chemo furball. Animals are something else. My dogs have been very clingy since I've been sick. They can sense when something is not right with us.
Anyway love your sense of humor Happy New year to everyone.

Coming--bringing more chocolate and games: the ever popular pin the tail on the neurologist ( of your choice), cards: special decks with half the spots for those with double vision, same for dominoes and dice, Candy Land (large print size. We can dream we could eat it can't we.), limbo sticks for the end of evening ( assistance allowed ) and paper decorations (we can wear them even if we can't hang them). Thanks for hosting, charlie!!
