How much Mestinon have you taken to say it is not effective and what are your symptoms?

At month 8 I had trouble with the 1000 mg twice a day and weigt loss, bone pain. Now am doing well on 500 mg twice a day.
Not my old self but very functional.
Prednisone gave me other serious medical issues that kept me in the hospital and made me worse. So this was why my neuros went this way for me.
