My symptoms started back in august of 2013 long story short would not take the Dr s telling me was just stress so first symptoms blurry and double vision,trouble keeping food in my mouth and chewing and extreme fatigue . Worse by november slurred speech also dr still said stress .... By January had a long list of symptoms that included double and blurry vision , can't chew my food slurred speech , facial weakness mouth area, droopy eyes..tiny bit of swallowing trouble, arms hands and finger weakness and a bunch of other stuff ..emailed my dr with the list of symptoms after a a lot of research on my own told dr what I thought and they were on it after that ! So January positive for mg ,February found enlarged thymus possible thymomia , March 17 having thymus removed they r hopeful that will make me go into remission ? Started taking mestinon low dose 3 times a day about 8/10 days symptoms start coming back dr ups dose good for about the same time symptoms come back up the dose to many side effects dr waiting until I have out my thymus to start prednisone ....Had IVIG done February 24 thru 28 by last day started to see a little improvement and every day better by march 5 most symptoms gone YAY !! I know it's not a fix but for today feel better !! Sorry for the horrible rambling so very excited to have input on this! Even the Doctors don't really seem to know much about this disease ...
