Low Heart Rate

Has anyone experienced low heart rate while taking Mestinon?

I have a low heart rate, with or without mestinon.

Its called Bradycardia if it is under 60 BPM.
Normal for athletic types--does not include me now!

My daily average is 61 BPM. At night--51.

Thanks Kerry. I fainted the other morning and went to see my primary care doc. About 3 years ago I had been put on a very low does of blood pressure medicine to lower my blood pressure which I think was stress related but my stress level had decreased and I think the fainting was due to too low blood pressure. Anyway, the doc saw my low heart rate and did an EKG and now wants me to see a cardiologist but in doing my own research I see some connections to mestinon side effects. I have recently started taking mestinon again for my ocular myasthenia (had it for 60 years and it has remained ocular all those years). I've increased the dosage because it has come out of remission and I'm thinking it may have caused the low heart rate. I've exercised throughout the years but don't consider myself to be the athletic type but have always had a rather slow heart rate and low blood pressure.

I also have bradycardia low pulse and blood pressure. As far as I know its another problem nothing to do with MG
