Over the last 6 years I have had to give up my sport,now I know because of MG. I was playing rep bowls for Auckland and finding the bowl unusually heavy and having trouble climbing up onto the bank and standing on the head. Then I started indoor bowls and had trouble getting up and down off the mat..All this I put down to aging and when I mentioned it to my GP he sent me to a rheumatologist who said it was fibromyalgia and arthritis.And so it goes on..................................

Is there any serious illness, that is more mis-diagnosed than MG?
Maybe there is.
But MG - is right up there, right near the top of the list.
DON'T GIVE UP!
There is help and support and doctors who will take (some) of our symptoms seriously. With rare disease, comes the rarity of doctors willing to accept the possibilities and effectively treat what they can not always prove. The specialists are out there....keep searching.
Those days are the best and I am so glad you went out with friends and felt this good.
