Wellness,
I know an 80 lady who has MG (not on this site) she had it as a child, had to get treatment and now she is in remission! So, remission is possible.
There are changes in what I can and can't do, but I adjust and hope to be able to do more - like ride my bike or go grocery shopping without having to ride in the cart.
That is so nice that you are concerned about your family member. Welcome to the group!

Just tell your young friend to be careful of slip and falls, and drowning. Also warn them against taking any drugs that they haven't checked out thoroughly to see if they affect the MG. If you keep healthy, you will get to dance at the wedding! ~joe
You can live a good life with Mg but like with any other Disease its critical to get the proper dx , than treatment , medications and having a support group none other than this one. A good mental outlook in my opinion can be a game changer one way or the other.
Never , never give up and keep the faith..Cj
