I think we can all agree that if we lacked the circumstances to know one another we'd all be much better for it, but given that little thing we call reality, what a great boon it is that we have found this community here. I am thankful for all here. In fact, I was just saying in the thread I had started that I wish my grandma had had the support of a group like this.

You are the ones who truly understand what we go through. I am so grateful to have found you. Often, it is the only thing that gets me through the day with a smile on my face, I no longer feel alone.

Hope your muscles simmer down and you sleep well the rest of the night. Thank you, and all the others that contribute to this site, making it a great source of comfort.

You made me cry, Charlie. I am so very debilitated and so lost for answers and what to do next. Keep working? Keep trying the every other week IVIG (which seems to mildly be helping but the schedule & associated meds to ward off side effects weakening me)? Apply for social security disability (then how do I support myself until I can collect)? My head is spinning and my body feels like it is turning mushy. This support group (and my Neuro) are the only thing that is keeping me from thinking I have lost my mind and am fabricating all of this. I can't thank you all enough for being "there". Even if I don't post a question, by reading your posts I learn and mostly learn I am not alone in this very real illness. May you all have a VERY Merry Christmas! Barb. It is just so amazing that all we have to do is reach out here and someone will reach back. Someone that understands how we feel and has been there. There are many degrees of severity of MG amongst us collectively. We have either been there or can simply imagine where we could be. MG got me to quit smoking cigarettes and for that I am truly happy.

It seems lately that my energy to post on here is non existent. Just being able to read all of the members post though reminds me I won't loose my family here. We truly care about one another.

Barb, I know exactly what you are going through. We'll talk more when I get more energy I hope.

I send loving thoughts that 2014 brings all of us, more answers, medication that gives us more freedom, strength, and the ability do to the things we love. But most of all may we be free of the real fears of not being able to keep a roof over our head and the necessities of providing income, and the ability to be independent. Love to each and everyone of you!
