Hey my fellow DS'ers!!! Yep, another late night for me. Checking on my daughter every 3-4 hours. Carly, my third, has bronchitis, Pnuemonai for a while now, now it is spreading to John Matthew & Maria no matter how many Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, mask, gloves, & isolation. So doc has Maria on Percocet 10 every 4-6 hours (pain control to all of her whole body) to keep her out of the H, due to catching more germs there!! He does not do narcs, so it alerts me when he pulls out the "big guns " on my kids! He has been right so far, tomorrow will tell but her T keeps rising, but we will go to his office for IV's if we can make it through the night w/ her fever & pain control ,fingers are crossed!!! Now I have to be very warm, loving & creative to tell my all athletic young son that for now sports & PE are gone:((( I can do this, right guys?!? I can feel you all pulling for me, that's the only way I can keep doing this!! Give thanks & smile through it no matter how much is sacrificed!!! I can I can, I will!!!! Thx so much my lovely DS'ers!! You all help keep me sane!!! I hope I do the same for any one of you, because I know all our plates are full, but God gives us really big hearts too:)). You are such my superhero..... I lift you and your kids up in prayers that this illness gets kicked to the curb! I know it is so hard to see your kids sick.
You can do this, we are all here for you, and wish I was close I would help.

When the girls were young, I used to send them to their room and consider life from their perspective, four or five years of world experience. This was when I was exasperated with them. But I think it works sometimes when you don't know what to do or say, just the total concentration on the child, nothing in particular (and hope you are concentrating on the right one!) and when the time comes, the right words often come, too. Even the short times of quietness you can grab here and there can keep you going. It helps , it really helps, to know that the people here are pulling for you as we try to navigate this difficult time. Hoping we all get safely to shore! After talking to her doc we did finally have to call the dreaded Ambulance, but the ER docs were so much nicer & the nurse was great, it was even quiet.... Thoughts & prayers were definately heard:)) X&O'S. To all of you:)) MeLisa
