Are you taking prednisone? High doses of prednisone, especially make it hard to sleep. I remember when I started on just 20mg of prednisone that I had extreme difficult sleeping.
A good night of rest is necessary for MGers.
Good luck! Sleep well.
I think sometimes the MG just makes me feel physically uncomfortable. I wake up thinking.. is it morning yet, can I please just get up? I am historically an excellent sleeper.
Ditto on the prednisone. I dont sleep on that stuff at all.
Good luck!

I struggled and struggled. Then I cut out my third cup of coffee and I was able to sleep.
I was shocked.
Caffeine really impacts sleep.
On high doses of prednisone I had to take sleeping pills.
I take a .5 Xanax to get me off to sleep. Another thing that wakes me up is dry mouth. This is a problem with Lems and Sjogren's, but not sure if it affects those with mg. It was getting really bad and I finally stumbled across something that helps with it called xylimelts. You stick them in your mouth at night and they adhere to your gum or tooth and slowly dissolve throughout the night. I've only had them for about a a week, but so far, I have been sleeping for much longer periods and the sleep is more restful.
