Cipro and leviquin (any quinolones) are at top of list of antibiotics to avoid

Sherry has a link in the Links Group and there are several others under medication and myasthenia also in the Links Group.

Here is one I like because it grades the "use with caution" and suggests ways to minimize the chances of problems. We often have to use drugs that are otherwise contraindicated because ofnallergies to the few antibiotics that are not. Be sure there is a culture. No use to be exposed to a drug that is not active against the organism causing the problems.
