During MG we take various types of immunosupressive agents and we should not be surprised to see this type of condition. During treatment of MG we are compromising with our immune system. I think you may ask your neuro to reduce your immunosuppressive drugs (if you are taking any of those)

All my docs have told me with MG there tend to be other autoimmune disorders that come along. Could this be the problem? Or maybe it is due to the immunosuppressant meds?

As much as it's great that we can get results on line one of the pitfalls of such a system is seeing something we don't understand or know much about. We begin the worrying process all over again.
Now that the holidays are over I'm quite sure you will be able to get a full explanation from your physicians.
So sorry you have to add something else to your already full plate. I always try to remember what my mother used to say, God only gives as many troubles as he thinks we can handle, but you have to pray for strong shoulders to carry it.
