I can feel the weather is going to change again... Here we go ... Can't keep my eyes open and starting to get double vision and breathe hard. The Mestinon will help a little, but not enough... I will get better after the weather changes again. What have others done to combat this? I'm going to bed now...

I took more Mestinon and kept increasing the prednisone. Took a couple of months before I got much better--then things improved greatly. It took prednisone to get me out of all of the MG symptoms.

Thanks, Russ. Two family members have steroid-induced glaucoma, so both my rheumatologist and neurologist are trying to use other DMARDs, but may have to give in and try the steroids. I'm going to move a portable dehumidifier to the bedroom, I think. A nap helped. But the vision still isn't great. Still kind of weak, too. Thanks again.

The rain and extreme temperature changes still cause more symptoms in me, but not as much as they did when I was in the testing phases and the MG was getting rapidly more severe.
I also started prednisone at that time and it did help me A LOT!

The symptoms you are listing are not what I would consider "functional" and I believe your doctor should be given a call or a visit right away!
The weather may still effect you, but when it is getting at you to the point that your breathing is involved... it is time to make a new plan!

Make sure you keep in touch with your neuro. Lots of people have to change their dose from time to time.

OK.. now it is going to rain here. I really felt it this morning. It was really difficult to get up and everything hurts. Unfortunately, it is going to be one of those days.

Wait a minute, Kimber, "everything is going to hurt"? The Nuero's keep telling us that there's no pain with MG:)

Yep. Well this little snowflake disease apparently has too many different factors to list. I also have 2 forms of arthritis which doesn't help. But doesn't explain the muscle pain throughout my body. Apparently that is one if the continual symptoms I have that no one can explain.
I can just tellwhen I'm having one if those days and do my best to adjust.
