pain, itchiness, burning. Mestinon treats the synapses in your nerve conduction. In MG your nerve condtition is messed up, your muscles don't get the signals appropriately and are blocked, thus you are tired, and weak. Take both meds. You will be glad you did, and good luck.

you were given the Rx - to help against shingles?
if so, that makes sense.
i take it, 100 mg 4x daily: to keep neuropathic pain at bay.
it works beautifully for me, and i tolerate it well.
thank God I have it.
it is helping me tremendously, right now.
left arm: nerve-pain, topped off with tendonitis.
topped off by a benign tumor.
that is inflamed, and sitting right on top of the arm nerve-channels.
gabapentin won't do much for MG.
but besides neuropathic pain?
it does help some - with cramping problems.
gabapentin is widely used, all over the world.
against a wide variety of ailments.
that result in nerve pain.
probably the most common use?
by diabetics, with nerve-damage caused by nerve-end inflammation.
