Now, because I am a medical professional I have a slightly different view. I want to point out that doctors are only human and more importantly, science is never perfect.. I personally, would prefer a doctor that says that he/she doesn't know what's wrong than someone who pretends to. They do more harm than good chasing the wrong diagnosis and trying meds/therapies that can worsen your MG and your long term chances of remission.
Honestly, many doctors didn't consider what they wrote in charts because it's rarely seen by anyone but other practitioners. Unless your doctor is between the ages of 30 and 40 yrs old, most never saw the "electronic age" taking over that particular aspect of business. Sad huh?
I wish that they all had the brain power to know that just because it's in your head, doesn't mean that you write it down. Hopefully you've all got much better doctors now and you are no worse for wear. Hugs...
