SO excited to find a new product to share with you while browsing in Bed Bath & Beyond: a "Chilly Sport cooling towel" by Froggtoggs. $12.99 for the neck size, 33x6.5", and a larger towel size is also available. Been a seamstress for 40+ yrs but still don't know what this fabric is--sort of rubberized chamois. It doesn't mold or mildew in its container (like a sport water bottle) and instantly feels cool when water is added. I may buy the large size to cut into strips, keep one in the fridge, one in car, at work, etc.. Loving it, and wonder if I'm the last person to find out about these! = ) Cheers, and stay cool out there! Stephanie
I used one last summer during an outside wedding reception. I had to keep rewetting the cooling towel but it worked really well. I kept the towel wrapped around my neck. May have looked a little funny but we do anything to keep cool.
I do not own a cooling vest but I'm sure they work alot better. However if you are looking for something a lot cheaper and will only need for short periods...I do recommend the cooling towel.
