I've noticed when I walk I sometimes have some foot slapping which is the muscles that raise the foot fatiguing and allowing my foot to slap the ground when I take a step.

It's somewhat reassuring that you can tie your symptoms to specific exercise, but as Cathi said constant footdrop is something else. One of the things I noticed that has gone away pretty much with treatment, is that when I got up at night, it was much easier to walk with one foot on tiptoe. I don't know whether that was because the joint stiffened while asleep or weakness picking the foot up, but it would be gone by morning and in my drowsy state, I just wanted to go back to bed and to sleep and never really tried to straighten it. b.
I am shocked how it effect us differently.
I was so glad one weekend to be able to cook and do the kitchen clean up when my kids were home. I hate them doing all the work as they have when I am bad off. My left arm and hand were useless for 1 week and 1/2. Tingles and numbness. The shock is it is always after we see the negative effects. Had to wear a sling.Thankfully that went away.
I hope your foot is improving with rest.
