Does bulbar M.G. always lead to general?

I started with bulbar then ended up with general And Iwould like to know if this always happens with or without treatmen!!!If it doesnot always happen where can I find it in writteing?I am not the best when it comes to the computer!!

Just the opposite with me, Chuck.

For years, my worst problems were mild-to-moderate generalized MG.
I had some double-vision and some facial-droopiness too, but no chronic problems with bulbar symptoms.

Only 6 or 7 years after my initial diagnosis - did the bulbar symptoms come roaring along.

I went from a crooked smile and chewing to general. The Bulbar got real bad too, but that was a year after the crooked smile.

My answer would be yes, one can generalize with or without treatment. In Russ' articles in your other post, I think it is a given they are talking about generalizing with medication. Not everyone generalizes or can continue to have mild symptoms.

Wish I could find something for you that is easily put in black and white for us...but with this disease, nothing is black or white.
