I have been diagnosed with Ocular MG, but my neurologist refuses to diagnose me with generalized MG, for my leg weakness. Even though Mestinon has helped my strength. I got a muscle biopsy, and the found Chronic Denervation which affects muscle strength. I was wondering if anyone else had a muscle biopsy with this result that also has generalized MG. Thanks guys, you have had a lot of answers for me!

Should not actually be confused - with your symptoms. Some similarity, yes. But 2 different processes, actually going on.
MG ''runs in a pack'' - as someone said, the other day. Many of us - have other auto-immune conditions, that pop up, along with MG. (I have 2 other diagnosed neuro-problems, in addition to MG.)
First, you were diagnosed with ocular MG. Then overall muscle-weakness, that seemed to you - like MG. (Still seems like MG, to me.) Now, Chronic-Denervation.
I describe my symptoms, to healthy people? As one, big, auto-immune mish-mash. (They run!) And we can see the same thing here, everyday - with postings from everyone.
Do you mind, me asking? How does your Neuro - plan to treat your CD? (I might also want to discuss any new treatment, with my Neuro.) My SFND is basically treated with gabapentin/Neurontin. Although, I think some of the other meds, that I take for MG? Have a side-effect of also helping with the gabapentin.
