I found my sinuses much less mucousy (is that a word?) when I'm off dairy. I also use a netipot, saline rinses, etc to keep my passages clear when I get a cold.
My worst problems with sinus infections was before I went gluten-free. I was on various antibiotics for months - in the end it was actually a yeast overgrowth in one sinus from too many antibiotics! I ended up with it finally clearing with a single dose of diflucan. The day it cleared I heard a huge whining noise and the pressure released and the pain was gone!
Good luck getting to the bottom of your problem. You might need more time or a different medication.

Hang in there.
probably either
I would say allergies this time of year
mine kick in and mG flares up
cut out milk and gluten too makes me better
I have always regressed when spring come.
2 out of my 4 years with mg and I have been in hospital
Good advice there.
My (bacterial) infection seems to be clearing up now and my strength is coming back. My rule is to check the kleenex. Clear-ish is allergies or viral. Yellow opaque or yellow-green or green is bacterial (pus).
The fever can confirm sinus bacterial infection as well.
(When it gets very serious, the green gets mixed with red red blood - yuck.)
Thanks again.
Every comment was useful.
P.S., my neuro finally answered my email and said that stopping cellcept wouldn't help in the short term. After being on it for a year, it would take months for my body's immune system to go back to pre-cellcept readiness (and, of course, my MG symptoms would return).
After MG I developed serious allergies of cats. Allergies make us more susceptible to viruses.
Dogs also make my nose run and develop cold days after being with a dog.
Being around a lady who had cats sent me to er one time.
You might want to look at your environment , dust, dogs, cats, birds?
Their bedding is really bad so if you sleep near pets.....
Also my daughter had sinus infections for a year or two. Only to discover she is allergic to gluten. If you are a heavy milk or beer drinker that could be causing problems too.
So quit eating or enjoying animals and you will be fine...hahaha
