I had abnormal blood test result today. Dr said there were immature cells and he is referring me to a Hematologist. Who may or may not do a bone marrow biopsy. My doctor also said the Prednisone might be causing this.
I took 20 mg of Prednisone from July 2011 until about October 2012 when I went up to 30 mg.
Recently took Cellcept for about a month. Now I am allergic.
I called my Neurologist today after I found out about abnormal test but before seeing the DR. All she told me was that she wanted me to take Prednisone every other day and that she was hesitate to start me on a new drug. I have an appointment already schedule for her on Monday.
Any one have this problem or knowledge about it?

Sorry to hear about your knees, that must be terrible being bone on bone. Hope you are able to get some help soon.
Only recently I have started walking with a cane for stairs and getting on and off buses. I don't need the cane for home or work.
