I know there are three types of antibodies with MG. Are there different types of treatments that deal with each type? Are there any worse then the other to have problems with? Newbie here and expecting results Monday after noon time.
With the first three that I mentioned there doesn't seem to be any difference in the type of treatments used and the efficacy of them. MuSk is a different story and it is much harder to treat than the others. Some cases are call Refractory and similar to MuSK it is difficult to treat and patient's don't respond the same to the treatments.
For the most part the treatments remain the same for all types of MG. Obviously, there are different combination of medications and doses but the options that are available for treatment are pretty much the same. It's just a matter of figuring out what works for each patient.
