Cathy and I are heading to Vanderbilt for more PLEX for me. We arrive on Monday to have the vas cath surgically inserted, then 5 days of inpatient plasma exchange.

If you have plex everyday, do you have donated plasma returned to you instead of the the albumin that one receives if it is further spaced?

I get albumin, 7.5 liters at a time. It takes from 5 to 6 hours depending on the machine I am hooked to.
I had a reaction to human plasma (FFP=fresh frozen plasma) so they are reluctant to give it to me.

I always wnodered why I see the blue led light on our cable box blurry and double and even the green LED lights on the stop lights, but not the red. So it's because of the astigmatism! And I just tried looking at it looking up and it went double. I knew that I had double vision looking side to side, but I never realized it was also while looking up. I noticed I really stopped looking side ways with only my eyes, I usually just turn my head.
My prayers are with you during your treatments.
