Anybody had experience with atrial fib cardioversion? My cardiologist has not found a antiarrhythmic drug he can use with my MG. Plus I am on 1 week post MG crisis with near intubation.
His plan of action right now is to have an anesthesiologist with him during the cardioversion. What helps is my wife works for him and we know he is an excellent EP cardiologist. He did my atrial flutter ablation four years ago right after my MG diagnosis.
Our concern is prevent any flare up with the MGI am in a different hospital with neurologist here total new to my case. My MG crisis was covered my my neuro doctor at Mayo Clinic and she is at the MG conference this weekjust my luck.
Big difference in Mayo Hospital - Jacksonville and my local hospital. I am sure I will do just fine and will keep you posted.
